Mau P, Sahara Tent at Coachella, Polar Productions
This year marked Polar Productions' third consecutive year providing laser production for the festival. Their team brought immersive laser and SFX experiences for a stellar lineup of artists such as Tiësto, Alesso, Kaskade, MauP, Yeat, and even Paris Hilton. Their continued partnership with the festival has allowed them to refine a signature laser aesthetic with sharp, vibrant beams and dynamic audience-safe scanning effects, perfectly complementing each set.
The Laser Technology

The Coachella Mainstage, Sahara, Quasar, and Yuma stood out as showcases for the power and versatility of KVANT Atom Laser Projectors. On the Sahara, the Atoms delivered sweeping aerials and crisp, saturated beams that filled the open-air club environment, enhancing headline sets like Yeat’s Coachella debut—complete with a massive 50-foot inflatable bell and a surprise appearance from Anyma as well as Mau P’s live premiere of his track “TESLA.” In the Yuma Tent, the Atom Lasers helped define the tent’s underground club vibe, cutting through darkness and haze to create immersive, high-energy moments for electronic music fans.
Quasar also had a unique deployment of 6 Atoms in a circle configuration making a sharp and colorful aerial marker.
For other stages, Polar Productions deployed BeamBrush and Clubmax Laser Projectors, with select models featuring the Professional Audience Safety System (PASS) for safe audience scanning. This combination allowed for a wide range of effects, from razor-sharp beams to soft washes that served the storytelling and emotional performances of bands and live acts of the main Coachella Stage, Gobi, and Mojave tents. Lasers were even brought for the first time to Diplo’s HonkyTonk at Stagecoach, where Paris Hilton brought out Lizzo for a surprise duet.
All these systems were controlled through Pangolin’s BEYOND multimedia show software paired with FB4 control hardware, enabling real-time programming, precise synchronization, and instant adaptability to artist cues and spontaneous moments.

From the striking laser visuals that accompanied Yeat’s dramatic debut on Sahara to Mau P’s electrifying new track launch, Coachella 2025 proved how expertly designed laser displays—anchored by the trusted performance of Atom projectors on Quasar and Yuma—can transform live performances into fully immersive, unforgettable festival experiences.
