The SKOLL Winter Festival returned to Caen's Parc des Expositions from February 28th to March 1st, 2025. At the heart of this year's visual experience was the special effects, provided by Midnight Sound Event, who transformed the festival's main stage into a canvas of light using their fleet of Kvant lasers, powered by Pangolin BEYOND software.
Midnight Sound Event
Founded in 2015, Midnight Sound event's portfolio showcases a wide range of projects across corporate events, music festivals, and artistic installations. Their work includes audio, laser and lighting setups for events such as French Basketball Cup, Winter Rave in Le Mans, and various artistic installations at histroic venues like Château d'Angers. This diversity reflects their ability to adapt their technical and creative skills to different event styles and scales, always delivering memorable visual experiences.
The Laser Show at SKOLL

At SKOLL Winter Festival, Midnight Sound Event deployed 6x Clubmax 10 FB4 lasers, known for their powerful output and vivid colors. Their bright full-color beams ensured clear, vibrant effects across the entire venue. Each projector featured an integrated FB4 control system, which provided flexible control and seamless synchronization across all units, vital for delivering complex, multi-laser displays in a live festival environment. At the core of the control setup was Pangolin's BEYOND Universe, which served as the backbone for precise and dynamic management of multiple laser systems.
